Linda Kay (Daniel) Northam September 20, 1947 - May 13, 2023

Linda Kay (Daniel) Northam, 75, of Throckmorton, passed away in Graham, Texas, on Saturday, May 13, 2023. Her grave- side service was at the Woodson Cemetery at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, officiated by John Tate. Linda was born in Los Angeles, California, on September 20, 1947, to Rufus and Mattie Lou Daniel. When she was 2, her family relocated to Rochester, Texas, where they operated the Daniels Café. On August 27, 1964, she married John Northam. They moved to Houston in 1968. While she called Throckmorton home later in life, she had a fondness in her heart for both Houston and Rochester, with a special love for spending time in the latter. Linda was pre- ceded in death by her husband, John; her parents, Rufus and Mattie; sister, Barbara Hudspeth; and brother-in-law, Sterman Hudspeth. She is survived by children, John Brandon Northam (Melissa) of Throckmorton, and Susanne Northam (Brad) of Fort Worth, Texas; 5 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
