In Loving Memory Kamryn McFarland
Kamryn Marie McFarland, age 19, of Big Bow, Kansas, was born April 9, 2004, at 3:20 pm in Galveston, Texas. She passed away on Monday, October 2, 2023, at 8:38 pm in Ulysses, Kansas. Kamryn is the daughter of Rex A. and Sheri (Creech) Julian and other mother, Terry McFarland, and grandmother Aletha Creech. Kamryn graduated high school at the age of 16. In high school, she was a member of the National Honor Society, played volleyball, and ran cross country. She then attended Garden City Community College in Garden City before transferring to Fort Hays University seeking a teaching degree. Kamryn volunteered at the Loaves and Fishes and Restored by Grace in Ulysses. This is where she met so many Christian women. This is where her journey with Christ began to shine. Kamryn taught third grade at Harvest Christian School. She loved her job and her students. Kamryn loved fearlessly and one of her great loves was Angel Antonio Miranda. They loved each other tremendously and had planned on making a future together. Survivors include her parents, Rex and Sheri Julian of Big Bow; aunt, Terry (Teke) McFarland; sisters, Kaemyn McFarland, Britt Cantrell and husband Matt, Kristin Eldredge and husband Chris, Amanda Julian, Heather Julian, Tabitha Julian and Samantha Julian; brothers, Kyle Buse and wife Rachel, Vernon Buse and wife Jamie, Zachary Julian, Nathan Julian and Skylar Julian; many nieces, nephews and cousins, Haleigh, Gracie, Ella, Kiki, Landon, Lexie, Matthew and Emerson; and a multitude of friends and other family members. The service will also be available on Garnand Funeral Home Facebook page. Internment will be in Woodson, Texas, on October 13, (at 10:00am) 2023. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Harvest Christian School in care of Garnand Funeral Home, PO Box 715, Johnson, KS 67855.
