Betty Sue Alexander, 96, of Woodson, Texas, passed away Friday, November 22, 2024. Graveside service will be held at Woodson Cemetery at 2:00pm, Wednesday, November 27, 2024.  Rob Daws will be officiating under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes, Throckmorton. A visitation is planned from 6:00 to 7:00pm, Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at the funeral home, 107 N. Austin, Throckmorton, Texas.
Betty was born January 5, 1928 in Fort Worth, Texas to Ermine (Daws) and Charles Forth. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Throckmorton, Texas. Betty loved her family, the color red, Betty Boob, and always on the move. All of us remember her affectionally calling us “Sweet patootie.” 
She is survived by her son, Jack Raymon Alexander III and wife Kay of Poolville, Texas; a daughter, Sue Bett Barnes and husband Bob of Throckmorton, Texas; two granddaughters, Cheyenna Tabor of Abilene, Texas, Cassidi Cai Alexander of Poolville, Texas; a grandson, Clay Dan Alexander and wife Mattie of Peaster, Texas; five great-granddaughters; Tristian Price of Stanford, Texas, Teagan Galvan and husband Caleb of Cisco, Texas, Stenlyn Alexander of Poolville, Texas, Lilah Alexander of Peaster, Texas, Leddy Kay Alexander of Peaster, Texas; two great-grandsons, Haven Tabor of Moran, Texas, Logan Alexander of Peaster, Texas; three great-great grandchildren; and numerous nephews and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Ermine Forth; a son, Ross Dean Alexander; two grandsons, Steve and Charlie Stephens and a sister, Jackie Carroll.
